Thruster Rail Gripper, compact version, sill beam mounted, complete with hand release and release indicating limit switch. Mounted on a tripper ore pellet conveyor at a steel plant in Hamilton Ontario, Canada. The Rail Gripper maintains position while the ore pellets are transported on the conveyor. The rail gripper also provides safety in the event of high winds.

Rail Gripper Selection
The thruster actuated Rail Gripper must be chosen according to exposed surface areas of structures and maximum wind speed in addition to a suitable safety factor.
